Synaptics Partners with Microsoft to Bring Precision TouchPad™ Technology to Surface Pro 3 Tablet

SAN JOSE, Calif., June 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Synaptics Inc. (NASDAQ: SYNA), a leading developer of human interface solutions, today announced that Microsoft has selected its Precision TouchPad™ solution for the new Microsoft Surface Pro 3 Type Cover keyboard and ClickPad™ accessory. Synaptics partnered with Microsoft to develop an innovative new Type Cover that enables a more sensitive and intuitive capacitive sensing input that delivers increased functionality, accuracy and control when compared to previous models.
